A sliding gate motor is a motor that is installed on the gates of a home or business. It is designed to open and close the gate so that it can be used as an entrance or exit point.

The way a sliding gate motor works is not too different from how other types of motors work. the motor drives the gate’s movement by transferring the power to the gearbox which converts the rotational motion of the motor into linear motion to slide the gate along a track. The control system receives signals from remote controls, keypads or sensors and activates the motor to open or close the gate accordingly.
